A Message from the Master

24/7/2014

As Master of the Gild during the quadrennial year of the Waggon Plays I had a immense sense of pride and honour in our production this year. Our new Director Tom Strasz produced what I considered to be one of the most dramatic I have seen over the past Sixteen years. Under Tom's direction and modern day interpretation the actors from St Chads combined to produce a most memorable event for all those privileged to watch.

I must also thank those members of the Gild who contributed to preparing and maintaining the Waggon and providing the power to move it over the two Sundays and not forgetting a number of individuals who contributed as programme sellers and helpers. You have my most sincere thanks and appreciation.

The Master, David R. Clapham
